this pic was exposed for the white area as i find that normal flash exposure will be too much for the white patches. also tried the layering thing to bring up the brightness and contrast of the spider....

This image is beautiful. Love the curve of the leaf with the golden spider with black background made the image perfect lay out. Good jobs.

This are the settings : 1/50s, f32, iso200, center wt avg metering, hotshoe mounted flash. The cam & flash are all set using manual mode. I was able to use a slow shutter as the subject was quite stationary, fill-in flash in manual mode in the range of 1/2 to full power. Hope u can understand what i m trying to share here .... hehe
